What the fine print shows

Found is a weight-management platform offering a medical assessment, clinician access, coaching and app-based support. Its public offer terms separate three paths: compounded GLP-1 treatment, oral non-GLP-1 generic medication and branded GLP-1 prescribing. That distinction matters more than the lowest headline. The branded plan pays for membership and prescribing access while the medication is billed separately; the compounded plan says medication is included, with laboratory costs excluded where applicable. A general enrollment page cannot identify which prescription a clinician will recommend. Before paying, ask whether your selected plan includes the actual medicine, the care fee, follow-up and any required tests. The GLP-1 care-fee comparison explains how to separate those amounts without comparing a membership-only figure with a complete treatment quote.

Found’s offer terms label prices by the month but explicitly bill every four weeks, a 28-day cycle. Longer terms have lower advertised equivalents and represent longer commitments. First-period compounded-plan discounts are also distinct from the later charge. A twelve-month term is described as 48 weeks in the plan tables, so it should not be silently equated with a calendar year of care. The selected-plan total depends on insurance eligibility, the plan chosen, medication inclusion and additional patient responsibility. Reconcile those details in your own written offer. Ask for the amount due today, the next payment, the total term, and whether early cancellation ends all remaining obligations. Saving the actual offer is useful because the public terms say earlier members can remain subject to earlier terms.

The terms identify contracted medical groups including Pippen, Cloud and OpenLoop-related entities, rather than treating Found itself as your prescriber. These names establish the platform’s described clinical structure; they do not identify your assigned clinician or verify that person’s license in your state. Ask for both before consultation. Branded medicine may be filled through a pharmacy you choose or, when eligible, a manufacturer cash-pay channel. The compounded-plan language refers to pharmacy fulfillment facilitated by Found without identifying the facility assigned to an individual order. A branded dispensing option does not establish a compounding pharmacy’s identity or license. The product identity guide explains why the brand, form and pharmacy need to be specified together.

Insurance pricing refers to coverage for clinical care, not a promise that insurance will pay for your medicine. The billing consent assigns benefits to participating medical groups and makes you responsible for charges your plan does not cover, subject to the agreement. Copays, coinsurance and deductibles can remain due. The offer terms also restrict the insurance-price path for government insurance plans. Confirm the particular medical group’s network status and the actual drug benefit separately with your insurer. Found’s broader medication menu includes products with different indications; access to a prescribing service does not guarantee the requested medication, a coverage decision or a particular weight-loss result. For a compounded prescription, FDA says the finished drug is not FDA-approved and should be considered only when a patient’s medical needs cannot be met by an approved medicine. The pharmacy framework explainer supplies context without certifying any individual preparation.

The refund policy has several separate triggers. It describes an initial membership refund for cancellation within three days of purchase or before the first consultation, and a medical-disqualification refund when no offered treatment is suitable. Being ineligible for a preferred GLP-1 alone does not qualify if another offered treatment remains available. The policy also contains language saying the membership becomes nonrefundable after the initial events, so obtain confirmation of how the window applies to your timing before relying on a refund. Dispensed or shipped medicines and lab kits cannot be returned or refunded under the stated policy, and renewal payments are nonrefundable. Found recommends canceling or pausing at least 48 hours before renewal. Keep the request and confirmation, and ask what cancellation does to an existing multi-period commitment. The complete treatment quote guide helps turn those answers into a comparable written budget.

How signing up works

  1. 1Sign up

Complete the health assessment and identify the exact plan offered to you. Save its inclusion list, payment schedule, introductory conditions and longer-term obligations before accepting enrollment.

  2. 2Clinician review

A contracted medical group assesses suitability and prescribing. Ask who will treat you, whether a live visit or tests are required, and how follow-up contact and additional charges work.

  3. 3Pharmacy

For a branded prescription, confirm your chosen dispensing option. For a compounded prescription, obtain the exact facility name, address and state authorization rather than relying on a general network description.

  4. 4Delivery

Confirm the shipment, supply period and refill requirements in your selected plan. Request cancellation or a pause before the renewal cutoff and retain confirmation; cancellation and a medication refund are separate questions.

Pharmacy and prescriber

  • Which pharmacy fills Found's orders is not settled yet.
  • Prescriber step:Named medical groups assess eligibility and prescribe when appropriatePass

What holds up

  • Public terms distinguish compounded, branded and oral generic plan inclusions
  • The offer tables explicitly identify four-week billing cycles
  • Contracted medical groups are named in the platform terms
  • Branded prescribing can use a chosen pharmacy, subject to the plan
  • Refund terms distinguish total medical disqualification from a preferred-drug refusal

Watch-outs

  • Branded GLP-1 medication and applicable labs are outside the membership price
  • Insurance pricing for clinical care does not guarantee drug coverage
  • The compounded pharmacy assigned to your order is not established here
  • Renewal payments and dispensed or shipped medicines are nonrefundable
  • A longer-term monthly equivalent is a commitment price, not a flexible monthly offer

Fits you if

You want to compare branded and compounded weight-management pathways with coaching, and will verify the selected offer, assigned clinician, pharmacy and insurance responsibility before enrollment.

Look elsewhere if

Consider other options if you need a confirmed all-in renewal quote before starting, require guaranteed coverage for a specific drug, or need a named compounding pharmacy before paying.

Questions about Found

How much does Found cost?
The amount depends on your plan, commitment and insurance eligibility. Branded medication and applicable laboratory costs are separate from the care membership. Obtain the full first and later charges before comparing offers.
Does Found bill monthly or every four weeks?
The public offer tables explicitly state every four weeks, a 28-day cycle, even where the advertised figure uses a monthly label. Confirm the dates and total commitment in your selected agreement.
Does insurance pay for Found medication?
Coverage for clinical care does not guarantee coverage for a particular medicine. The billing consent leaves patient responsibility for uncovered charges, and the offer terms describe separate drug costs and potential copays, coinsurance and deductibles.
Which pharmacy fills a Found prescription?
Branded plans may use your chosen pharmacy or eligible manufacturer channels. The compounded-plan description does not establish the facility assigned to your order; request its exact identity and state authorization.
Can I cancel Found and receive a refund?
Initial membership and total medical-disqualification refunds have specific conditions. Renewal payments are nonrefundable, and dispensed or shipped medicine and lab kits cannot be returned. Ask how the initial window and any longer commitment apply before relying on a refund.
