Editorial rules
Peptide CareView
Every page on Peptide CareView follows the rules below. They exist so you can tell where each fact came from and how much weight it can carry.
Sources, by kind of page
| Page | Facts come from |
|---|---|
| Provider checks | The provider's own public pages, plus state pharmacy boards and FDA for the checks that need them |
| Status pages | FDA: approval records, labels on DailyMed, compounding lists, advisory-committee pages, the Federal Register |
| Evidence pages | Published human trials on PubMed, read in full where possible, and the FDA label where one exists |
Provider checks don't cite medical studies. Their job is to describe the company. The research behind what a provider sells lives on the linked evidence pages.
Rules for evidence
- Numbers over adjectives. Results are reported as the trial reported them: how many people, for how long, and how big the change was against placebo.
- Animal data is labeled. When the only evidence comes from mice or cells, the page says so up front.
- Limits stay in. Who funded a trial, whether it met its main goal, and what it didn't measure are part of the result.
- Every citation is real and checkable. Each study is linked by its PubMed ID, with the author, year and title matching the record.
- Doses are reported, never prescribed. A page may say what a label states or what a trial used. It never tells you how to mix, measure, inject or cycle anything.
Rules for status
Every status line carries the date of the FDA document behind it. "Not FDA-approved" and "not cleared for pharmacy compounding" are different statements and are never swapped. When FDA changes a list or posts a decision, the status page is updated and the change is noted on it.
Rules for prices
Prices are the ones a provider shows on its own public site, in its own words, with the billing term. They are never taken from an advertising page or a referral link. A first-month promo is shown as a promo, next to the price you'd pay after it. Every price on a review is as of the month in the byline.
Who writes and who edits
Each page identifies Peptide CareView as its publishing organization. No medical reviewer, credential or firsthand patient experience is implied. Provider facts, pharmacy and regulatory records, and evidence summaries link to their sources. Commercial providers do not write or approve the publication's pages.
Updates and dates
A page's date is the month its facts were last read. The date moves only when the facts are read again, never for a cosmetic edit. Hub and status pages keep a short note of what changed.
Fixing mistakes
A wrong fact gets put right where it appears, and the corrections page records the change. Send a correction from the Contact page and include a public source if you have one.
Partners and the newsroom
Partners pay a fee when a reader signs up from a link here. Payment never buys a mention, a position outside what a list's ordering line states, an early look at a check, or a change to what a page says. See How we're funded.
