What the fine print shows
Fella Health is temporarily pausing new signups while it reviews its offers. Its homepage and update page say existing members can continue using their accounts and getting support. During the pause, existing membership obligations matter more than unavailable treatment offers. Someone starting a new search should compare other semaglutide providers with an open enrollment process. An existing member has a different task: confirm the next charge, the care still included and any prescription decisions with the assigned clinician. A paused signup page does not, by itself, mean that existing care has ended.
The public announcement describes a change in advertising. Fella says it has resolved a dispute with Eli Lilly concerning compounded GLP-1 advertising and sales, and says it will stop advertising compounded GLP-1 offerings. It also says patients can discuss approved obesity medicines with their healthcare providers. These are Fella's statements about its approach, rather than confirmation from a court about its outcome or an individual treatment plan. Neither the announcement nor a general treatment category identifies the medicine currently available to a particular member. Older product references should not be treated as a current prescription catalog during the pause.
Fella's public membership agreement concerns direct obesity care. It lists an initial evaluation, ongoing management, prescribing when appropriate and access to the medical team for issues connected with that care. The agreement names Fella Medical Group as the practice. The website terms separately identify the platform business as Aios, while the privacy policy uses a different corporate form for that name. This difference needs clarification if the identity of a contracting party matters to a member's dispute or records request. Published group names do not establish which professional is assigned to an individual, that person's current authorization or the dispensing pharmacy.
No current enrollment price is established by the reachable offer page. The membership agreement instead refers to the fee stated during signup and says it is paid in advance. It also recognizes that some members chose a longer term. A recurring charge can therefore cover a different period from a calendar month, even when a document calls it a monthly fee. The billing comparison tool can organize the agreement a member actually has. Use the selected term, amount paid, renewal date and medication responsibility; an old advertised price is not a substitute for that contract.
Renewal and termination deserve their own reading. The membership agreement says the selected term automatically renews for another term of the same length unless it is terminated. It allows termination with advance written notice and describes a separate notice period for revoking payment authorization. Those provisions concern different actions. Removing permission to charge a card does not necessarily erase amounts already owed or establish the effective end of care. Before a renewal, obtain written confirmation of when cancellation takes effect, what access remains and whether another charge is scheduled. The plan checklist gives those questions a place beside the payment details.
The ordinary fee clause says paid membership fees are nonrefundable except under the referenced refund policy. However, the apparent refund-policy link currently leads to the offer-review notice. That limits what a reader can establish from that link alone. Fella also publishes separate guarantee terms for eligible existing weight-loss members, with detailed conditions. The existence of those terms should not be read as a promise that every canceled subscription qualifies. Ask which policy version and exception apply to the member's chosen program, when a request must arrive and how the response will be documented. Keep copies of the agreement and payment records.
The weight-loss guarantee has both participation requirements and a narrow request window. Its conditions include a minimum membership period, regular tracking, completing the required medical form and laboratory work promptly, and taking medication as prescribed. It also uses starting body-mass index and percentage weight loss in its eligibility rules. The published request window is in the seventh month, rather than whenever someone decides the service was disappointing. Returning members, early cancellation and certain older signup dates have separate exclusions. The condition table retains the actual thresholds. A member should compare their own records with those terms before relying on the guarantee.
Medication expenses have a further distinction under that guarantee. Fella says an eligible refund can cover membership when medication was included in it, while expenses paid separately to a pharmacy are excluded. It also describes a prorated refund when intolerable side effects prevent continuation after working with the team, and a refund when treatment cannot begin after medical review. Those are different stated circumstances, not one unconditional remedy. Neither refund language nor a guarantee supplies medical advice about stopping treatment. Ask the clinician about adverse effects or a treatment change, and ask the membership team separately about the financial process.
The clinical service has limits beyond its payment terms. The agreement restricts the program to obesity care and excludes emergency services and unrelated healthcare. It gives general response estimates for business-day and other communications while expressly declining to guarantee availability. An account message should therefore not be assumed to provide immediate clinical help. Existing members need to know who handles symptoms, whether a follow-up appointment is needed and how ongoing prescriptions are managed during the pause. The Lemonaid Health review offers another set of questions for comparing a platform's administrative role with the medical service itself.
The membership agreement says the practice does not participate in public or private insurance plans and does not bill insurance for its services. It also says membership is not health insurance and does not replace broader coverage. That describes the practice's fee arrangement; it does not establish coverage or a cash price for a particular approved medicine. A member needs separate answers about the prescription, pharmacy and any insurer decision. Likewise, the public notice does not currently identify a universal state list, test package or dispensing facility. Those details should remain unsettled until the relevant care team and agreement identify them.
Website privacy and clinical confidentiality are described in different documents. The platform policy discusses analytics, advertising, marketing opt-outs, service providers and limited access for staff or contractors doing their work. It says some information may be retained after an account-deletion request. The clinical notice separately describes uses of protected health information for treatment, payment and operations, along with authorization requirements and records rights. It also describes voluntary substantial compliance with health-privacy standards while stating that the practice is not technically a covered entity. That is the notice's own characterization, rather than a legal finding or security certification.
A privacy request should specify what the member wants changed. Unsubscribing from promotional email, asking for an account to be removed and requesting a clinical record are different processes. The platform policy describes third-party marketing arrangements and warns that earlier recipients may need a separate opt-out. It also states a limitation concerning encryption of outgoing email. Those disclosures do not prove that every communication is unsafe or that all clinical information is used for advertising. Members sending sensitive information should ask which channel the care team uses for it and how retained records can be accessed or corrected.
For a new patient, the practical conclusion is to wait for a clear reopening notice or compare an available service. For an existing member, the useful documents are the selected membership term, renewal notice, cancellation confirmation and care instructions. Compare Zealthy, Emerge Weight Loss and Invigor Medical on those same responsibilities rather than assuming that a similar treatment name means identical billing or support. Fella's current update should be read before any older price or testimonial. Confirm the actual medication and clinician with the care team; the pause notice does not answer those individual questions.

Questions about Fella Health
- Can a new patient join Fella Health now?
- The current homepage and offer-review notice say new signups are temporarily paused while offers are reviewed. Existing members can continue accessing their account and care team.
- What does membership cost during the pause?
- The current offer page does not establish an available enrollment price. The membership agreement refers to the fee and term selected at signup; existing members should use their own agreement and renewal notice.

- The agreement describes separate rules for written termination and revoking recurring payment authorization. Revocation does not promise forgiveness of amounts already owed. Obtain the effective cancellation and next-charge dates in writing.
- Is the weight-loss guarantee unconditional?
- No. It applies only to eligible existing weight-management members, with participation requirements, exclusions and a request window. Separately paid pharmacy medication costs are excluded.
- Does the pause mean existing care has ended?
- The current update says existing care continues. That does not establish a particular prescription, refill schedule or appointment. Existing members should confirm those arrangements with their care team.
